Competition – Driving Lessons

APass4U will be visiting Southend and Thurrock Colleges and a number of Road Safety Days and running a competition to win driving lessons.

Observation and using your mirrors

Many people when driving normally do not use their mirrors anywhere near enough and in fact only use it to check themselves out.

Where your basic cross roads or T junctions are concerned, you’ll need to decide if it is a Open or Closed junction. So what’s the difference?

Using the clutch properly can mean the difference between a good driver and someone who has problems controlling the car.

If you speak to someone who passed their driving test they will most likely be able to tell you more detail about it than their last birthday.

You will have to do a manoeuvre and possibly a “Controlled Stop” or more commonly known as an “Emergency Stop”.

As part of the Driving Standards Agency driving tests you will be asked to complete 1 of 4 manoeuvres including reversing around a corner.
