As many of you will know, learning to drive has never been as difficult as it is now, with both driving tests and driving instructor time extremely limited. There is a way to make the process of learning to drive less stressful through our Birmingham and Midlands based intensive driving courses.
We offer various different size intensive driving courses in Birmingham, ironically sometimes known crash courses. These courses range from 40 hours for a complete beginner through to a 6-hour course for someone who has recently not been successful on a DVSA driving test. The courses are normally run with 5 consecutive hours of training per day for a regular intensive driving course or 2.5 hours per day for a semi-intensive driving course. Whilst this may seem like a long time driving, we do break this up with a short interval.
It’s important that you gain some experience driving on different types of roads during your driving course and Birmingham is a great place to do this. If you’ve spent most of your time practising in the suburbs of Birmingham, it’s a good idea to try driving in the city for a new and different driving experience. It is also a good idea to try and get some motorway driving experience and what better place to practice than one of the most complex road systems in Birmingham, Spaghetti Junction!

Your Birmingham-based intensive driving course will be conducted with the same driving instructor from start to finish and of course, you will use the same car throughout including your Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA/Government) driving test. Our DVSA fully qualified driving instructors will guide you from the very basics through to preparing for the test or if you have been learning to drive in Birmingham before we will be able to take you from a point you are comfortable with through to test. This all should give you the continuity you will need to successfully pass your driving test 1st time.

Please note that whilst we do have great success in delivering intensive courses with good dates, we do not cut corners. We will always ensure that pupils we take to the test are not only capable of passing the DVSA practical driving test but will be safe and competent drivers after they have passed. It is for this reason we have a very good pass rate which is above the national pass rate for all learner drivers at all driving test centres.
