The local test centre can be found at 205 Birdbrook Road, B44 9UL. The test centre does have a car park, therefore you may be asked to complete a “reverse into bay” manoeuvre here on a steep hill. Please note that the car park also has a one-way system. Sutton Coldfield test centre is also nearby at 110 – 116 Boldmere Road, B73 5UB. Local busy roads close to the Kingstanding Test Centre include M5 & M6, A452, A453, A34 and A4041 although you will not be using the Motorways as part of your practical test. On your driving test, you may experience busy city roads, rural driving and residential areas.
It is of vital importance that learner drivers can drive safely. They need the skills to drive on all types of roads before taking a driving test. Learner drivers need to prepare for a lifetime of safe driving, not learn just enough to pass a driving test.
