Drink Driving
This is the remains of what was a learner car. Recently a young man and a friend decided they would go out drinking and then drove home. On the way back he lost control of his vehicle at speed and ‘T’ boned the parked Renault Clio. They eventually stopped 100 feet down the road, got out and ran off.
When are people going to learn that drinking and driving do not go together?
**Update – The Government are soon to be releasing new rules on the amount of alcohol a driver can assume and it is believed that the amount could be reduced by roughly a third.
Please do not believe that you can have 2 pints and still drive home as working out what you can consume varies depending on many factors including whether you have eaten, how many milligrams of alcohol are in the drink and much more. Do the sensible thing and do not have any alcohol and you know you will be safe.
