Having your driving lessons regularly is the key to success when learning to drive. We as driving instructors see so many pupils take a break for various reasons and some of the things they have learnt get forgotten or we see the learner drivers confidence take a step back. This all means that it can take a lesson or 2 which at the end of the day is more money to get back to where they were.
The average person will need between 30 to 40 hours behind the wheel with a DVSA ADi (Approved Driving Instructor) to be ready for test, some will need a little less, some a little more and some a lot more, there is no magical number that works. When learning to drive your friends will tell you they found it easy and will exaggerate the amount of lessons they took, do not believe everything you hear, many practice with parents/partners so have an awful lot more time than they will tell you.
