Got a test booked? Let's get you ready.
Need an experienced driving instructor at short notice? A Pass 4 U Quick Fix Courses are designed for learners who have a driving test coming up and need focused preparation to help them reach the required standard.
When your test date comes around sooner than expected.
Finding a driving test appointment at short notice can create a problem if your usual driving instructor isn't available or is unable to take you to the test.
A Pass 4 U has introduced Quick Fix Courses to help learners in this situation. We aim to connect you with an available driving instructor who can assess your current ability and recommend the right amount of additional driving tuition before your test.
Rather than booking a standard course and hoping it covers everything you need, your preparation starts with an individual assessment. This allows the instructor to make a recommendation based on your actual driving ability.
Already booked your test? Start here.
Quick Fix Courses are an additional service alongside our existing intensive driving courses. They are specifically intended for learners who have secured a driving test appointment and need focused preparation beforehand, usually on short notice or at the last minute.
Three steps towards your driving test.
Every Quick Fix Course starts with an assessment. From there, your instructor will establish what preparation is appropriate and whether a course can be offered.
Check availability
Your driving instructor must be available for your existing driving test date and time before an assessment can be arranged.
Complete an assessment
Take a 1.5-hour assessment lesson for £107. Your instructor will assess your driving ability and identify how much further tuition you need.
Start your course & save £50
When you book your recommended course, you'll receive an instant £50 discount applied directly towards your tuition.
Know where you stand before you commit.
We don't believe in recommending the same number of lessons to every learner. Your instructor will assess your current driving standard before recommending a suitable course.
- Your instructor assesses your existing driving ability during a dedicated 1.5-hour session.
- The assessment establishes how many additional hours of tuition you realistically need.
- Save £50: When you go on to book a recommended course, you receive a £50 discount credited towards your final course balance.
- You are under no obligation to book the recommended course.
- If you request fewer hours than the instructor considers necessary, a course will not be offered.
- Safety and reaching the required driving standard always come first.
Driving lessons built around your needs.
Following your assessment, your instructor will recommend a course based on the amount of preparation needed and the time available before your driving test.
Focused driving sessions
Quick Fix Courses can be arranged in 2, 2.5 or 5-hour sessions, subject to your instructor's availability. Lessons will be scheduled around the assessing instructor's diary to make the best use of the time before your test.
Preparation that fits your ability
Whether you need 6 hours of additional tuition or a more substantial course, the recommended number of hours will be based on your assessment. Manual and automatic course options are available.

Ready for your test? Only if you're genuinely ready.
A short-notice test doesn't mean cutting corners. Your instructor will only recommend and offer a Quick Fix Course if they believe the required standard can be achieved safely. If the assessment identifies that you need more time and practice than is available, a course will not be offered. Your safety and that of other road users must always come first.
